讓春天從高雄登陸
讓海峽用每一陣潮水
讓潮水用每一陣浪花
向長長的堤岸呼喊
太陽回來了，從南回歸線
春天回來了，從南中國海
Let spring land from Kaohsiung,
Let strait use every one of the tides,
Let tide use every one of the breaking waves,
Shouting towards those long-long shorelines:
The sun is coming back, from Tropic of Capricorn,
Spring is coming back, from South China Sea!

讓春天從高雄登陸
這轟動南部的消息
讓木棉花的火把
用越野賽跑的速度
一路向北方傳達
讓春天從高雄出發
“Let spring land from Kaohsiung,”
This sensational message from South!
Let the kapok torch,
With speed of cross-country race,
All the way send it to the North.
Let Spring start from Kaohsiung!
